Master Frank Fuller was promoted to the 6th Dan Black Belt by the World Martial Arts College and the US Hapkido Han Moo Kwan Association this November 2018 after decades of study and teaching in Hapkido. About Master Frank Fuller:
“I started martial arts in June 1986 in ITF TKD. Eventually the style I did at my school changed over time into WTF TKD plus a few other things, while my original instructor left the ITF to start his own system. I continued studying other Korean styles, such as hapkido. I continued exploring various Japanese, Chinese Korean, and other Southeast Asian systems over my time in the arts and also now hold instructor ranking in several. I have done alot of martial arts and continue to train and teach under the guidance of several teachers who have been close to me for years. I continued studying hapkido and taekwon-do with several other masters up to the present. I never stop learning and have to maintain a white belt mentality to improve upon myself. I founded a self-defense system that is called Hoshin Kwon Bup. I am always looking to challenge myself with new horizons. I joined the World Martial Arts College with GM Ahmed around 2005 and have continued with his organization to the present. I competed periodically in forms and sparring competitions in my younger days and taught classes and developed black belts at various locations, primarily at university recreation centers and martial arts schools. I have also been elected to several halls of fame in recent years for my contributions in the arts. One more tidbit of information is that I hold a political science PhD and teach both political science and criminal justice at several colleges. I try to apply some of these concepts about self-defense into my academic teaching and philosophy as well.”
