Western Long Boxing
Western Long Boxing (WLB) is the Close Quarters Combat System that is based on Pugilistic, Internal Alchemy. It is the Martial and Medical Science of altering consciousness by placing ones being in the center of modal behavior. The mastering of the system enables the adept to reach a fuller human potential in thinking, doing and feeling. It is been acknowledged and recognized by the World Martial Arts College, Black Dragon Fighting Society, US Martial Arts Hall of Fame and American Tai Chi and Qigong Association as a Masters Level expression of Taiji Quan. It is founded upon the integration of Vedic and Taoist, Stilling and Moving meditation methods.
Adepts learn to master the internal and external movement of the spiral in terms of martial science application of form and function. They learn to master the breathing process in terms of enhancing performance potential. The health benefits of practicing the system are tremendous as the practitioners can still themselves (Seated/Standing) for a minimum of one hour. They can also perform continuous arduous (Pugilistic) movements for a minimum of one hour.
The system also enables the adept to master the conditioning necessary to use the Sword in a Combative manner. Practitioners of the system are masters of breathing regimens and asana. As such they resistant to common illnesses and emotional disorders, reverse cardio vascular illnesses and are able to heal a themselves from Combat Sports Injuries. It is also a tested combative system of unarmed combat capable of saving lives and protecting innocent citizens from harm. It’s Combat Sport or MMA equivalent is Western Tai Chi Ch’uan.
